Hotel in Cervinia

Wow! Fantastic Hotel The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. We booked a double room. It wasn't the biggest room in the world but was clean had a great shower and nice alpine deco and plenty of hanging space and draws. The Breakfast was really good loads of cereal toast croissants fruit and cake. The hotel run a shuttle service where they will drop you off and pick you up from the town or the lift stations this was a game changer. They will even pick up take away food for you. The hotel is situated on red slope 3 and offers ski in ski out. The boot room provides a locker and is 20 meter walk to the slope. There is paid underground parking but we parked for free in the car park opposite. I would 100% recommend this hotel for the location and amenities but most of all the way the staff looked after us.

Actually, not so many truly ski-in/ ski-out hotels around with close proximity to the town centre. So, just for this, I would give 5 stars. Add to this very friendly and helpful staff, cozy common space corners, convenient parking, warm ski room, and you won't notice any points to complain even if they exist. Probably, the point for us was that it was a bit noisy in early mornings, when garbage trucks were circulating around, and the slopes were being prepared for opening.

Cervinia is an amazing ski resort and Hotel Mon Reve is something special on the slopes. The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast, everything you would need to fuel your day on the slopes (we found 8-9mins was the perfect amount of time for a runny egg). It took us approximately 3 mins to walk from the boot room straight onto the slope (run 3.00), which is a red run but it is very manageable if you take your time. This will take you down to the chair lift which goes up to Plan Torette. If you want to go to the bubble lifts that take you to the top of Plateau Rosa, you can walk up to the White Angel hotel and walk through the garage to run 3bis. The bar at the hotel was lovely, please try all of the local wine, you can't go wrong. All of the staff on the bar and the front desk are all absolutely amazing and will do anything to help. The room was very comfortable and we had a lovely view of the Matterhorn, when the weather allowed. I want to say a special thank you to Hermano, who runs the shuttle service for Mon Reve. Always happy to give you a lift into town and pick you back up, our longest wait for a lift was 5 minutes top. Also, ask Hermano for his resort suggestions, his insight was valuable.
